Social Responsibility

We believe it is important to take responsibility when it comes to equal opportunities in society. We are all familiar with heartbreaking examples of children facing challenging circumstances at home. A home environment that may not directly hinder a child’s enthusiasm and happiness, but does hinder their development, talent, and ability to connect with their surroundings. Through our donations to Petje af, we offer children (ages 10–14) a weekly, locally organized, hands-on program that connects them with inspiring role models and diverse career fields. Thanks to this program, which also involves the family, children develop (new) skills, a positive self-image, and a better outlook for the future.

A portion of our donations is guaranteed. For every successful match, we donate €50.

In doing so, we give our entire network the opportunity to contribute to the success of our social engagement efforts. By interacting with our Social Media Charity Posts—liking, tagging, sharing (reposting), or commenting—you directly contribute to the amount of our donations to Petje af. We donate €1 for every interaction, up to a maximum of €150 per post, calculated quarterly in arrears. When a post is a Charity Post, this is indicated on the post itself.

With this win-win initiative, we ensure that our campaigns are widely shared and that the resources allocated to them are put to good use.
